I AM DOING A NINJA WARRIOR POST.

There will be a four-stage obstacle course for your character to make it through. It is a test of strength, speed, and endurance. It will be a one-post deal, but will run for quite some time so whoever wants to sign up can. I'll run it for as long as it takes and then probably do another post with the winners so you can all gloat. I EXPECT YOU ALL TO BE REALISTIC. And feel free to force your characters to participate even if they would fail miserably.

What I want from you: anyone who would like to participate needs to comment to this post with an INTRODUCTION for your character. A basic, 'this is what they do for a living, these are their strengths' type thing for the 'announcer' to give you when you start the obstacle course. Comments are screened over there so the introductions will be a surprise. DO NOT COMMENT TO THIS POST WITH YOUR INTROS.

The tasks will be randomized for each stage according to official Ninja Warrior tasks.

We're going down to see my parents this week (Dec 27-Jan 3) and while we may try to steal onto our laptops for ninja play (assuming our laptops function, which is a surprisingly big assumption) we're gonna be on hiatus. So that's me with Umeda, Riku Replica, Heat, Sakubo, Sahashi Minato, Hakkai, Soubi, and Tsukihiko, and Zazzle with Allen, Axel, Yuki Sohma, Ritsuka, Miharu, Kagari, and Shizumasa.

Apologies to anyone I'm surprising with this, but I am dropping Graham! He's the character who brought me into camp, and I've loved everything I've done with him, but I haven't played him in a month and a half and haven't done anything new with him in a lot longer. I have decided that my desire to hang on to him is outweighed by my desire to not give LJ money for nothing, as well as the happy feeling of having a lineup only composed of people I actually play.

So he's heading home to do... whatever it is that Graham does. If anyone wants a drop post/thread, let me know and I'll do that in the next few days before his account expires!

Hello there, my friends. Due to the nature of the season, I notice that quite a few people have already gone on hiatus, and those that have not will most likely do so soon. And so! Someone in chan mentioned this, and since ZEX/I am always up for a party:

The plan is to have a holiday themed party with mistletoe, music, drinks, food, and IC gift exchange. Possible dancing, possible trying to have sex on the dance floor, possible getting lost on board the huge-ass spaceship. I'll throw up the post later tonight, and it will be open forever.

Welp, I'm bored, cold (cannot turn up heat past 67 degrees) and The Pinky and the Brain Christmas Special made me cry so I think it's time for some polling.

I suffer from the OCD need to maintain at least one effect icon each time I actually use an effect. Even though I don't do effects that often, this nonetheless reduces my icon inventory (and with LJ being a bitch, my initial decision to just buy another year has been severely hampered...). SO QUESTION. What do you do with your effect icons once an effect is over? Do you keep them or do you just assume the default will cover it? I'm also leaning toward having no default for hopes that this might address my OCD issue.

And if that's not interesting enough for you, you can always rec me a Christmas movie. ONE. Your favorite. Choose wisely.
